Meg and I had a wonderful time in Australia. We spent 3 days in Sydney. This is the view from our hotel room window. Sydney does not disappoint. We did all of the tourist requirements: visiting the Opera House, seeing the museums, taking Capt. Cook's harbour cruise, listening to a diggery-do player and more. We had some great meals as well.
Entertainment:
We flew from Sydney to Melbourne where Kate and family picked us up. Seeing the grandchildren is a great joy as you can imagine. We loved being with them and with Kate and Murray. Olive is now 4 years old and has great language. Keela is 15 months and is still practicing. Olive loves to draw and will stay up late in her room drawing herself to sleep. Both girls are happy and have a wonderful life living on the farm. Here's a bunch of photos:

I caught the swine flu in Australia. It is a lingering flu. I have been coughing for almost 3 weeks, but I feel fine. My doctors says that I am not contagious. I am ready for a Total Knee Replacement, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 18. I'll let you know how it goes.
Wishing you all a Happy 2010!
Love,
Diane
