Dear Friends,

It has been a long time since I entered a blog-post. That must mean that I am healthy. I am. I do "catch" bugs that are going around and seem to be sick longer than others who have the same bug, but I think that goes with the territory.

Olive is now 5 years old. She had her birthday in November. Keela is 2. She tries to do whatever Oli is doing. They made cupcakes for Oli's party.A face painter decorated the party goers.

I stay busy with the Cantor Arts Center and with friends. Recently one of my friends took me to her garden club. A guest floral artist demonstrated his skills. Who would think to add carrots to a floral arrangement?

Meg and I enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with Vicky and family. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. We should have it more often! Here is Bruce carving the turkey and a few of the guests waiting to serve themselves.

I continued celebrating post-Thanksgiving with Vicky's family. Liana's mother-in-law, Heidi, was able to join us for a Sunday night buffet.

Meg is as busy as ever teaching 5th grade at East Palo Alto Charter school. She continues to be a great support for me and she is lots of fun. She has some crazy friends and I enjoy seeing them.

This is a festive time of year. I love all of the colors, the music, the decorations. Just yesterday in downtown Los Altos I was happy to see local high school musicians entertaining shoppers.

Meg and I are going to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for the holidays. Look forward to exotic photos on my next blog.

Happy Holidays to all,
Diane
